We try to give you the most authentic experience so you can be aware of what to expect when you take your certifying checkride oral. This means our oral will primarily be a series of questions asked by our instructors to you and if at any point you are not sure on a question, we will help you through it!

Private/Instrument/Commercial Pilot Mock Oral Exam

You will be given a 2 hour mock oral exam that is meant to replicate the real deal so you can feel that much more confident

Private Pilot Mock Oral Bootcamp

A 3 week Boot Camp Course that covers the entire ACS and prepares you for the big day. It is once a week for 3 weeks, in 3 hour online sessions over Zoom

What you will get with a Mock Oral Session with SHEP

  • A Zoom call with a CFI who has conducted licensing 141 orals.

  • Throughout the oral the instructor will take notes on topics you can improve on and send it to you upon completion. If you don’t know an answer, that’s okay! We will help you through it and take note of it.

  • You will build confidence and be more prepared for the real deal.

What do you need to do to prepare for your mock oral?

You do not need a flight plan! Just have your study materials for referencing (PHAK, FAR/AIM, POH)

How can I refer a friend?

Once you have completed your mock oral, you can message us for a refer a friend code. This will be a one time use 15% discount code. Once that code has been used by a different person, we will send you a one time discount code worth 15% that can be used towards an instrument or commercial mock oral in the future.
